PE
At Dee Point Primary School, we use Edsential's Total PE+ to support in planning and delivering a progressive PE curriculum. This is a modern approach to the teaching of primary PE, with ambitious learning plans that develop Physical, Thinking and Social skills in every lesson and encourage a deeper understanding of Healthy Lifestyles.
Please find below links to the progression in Physical Skill across KS1 and KS2.

All children take part in PE at least once a week, and come into school in their PE kits on their allocated day.
PE is currently taking place inside or outside so please make sure what you wear is weather permitting.
All jewellery has to be removed before taking part in any physical education.
Our children also have the opportunity to go swimming on a weekly basis, this is changed each term throughout the year. By the end of Year 6 all children are expected to be able to swim 25 meters.
After school clubs are all up and running, please go onto the school gateway to sign your child up. Children can come into school in their PE kits on club days.
